So October is coming up. I don't know about you but I'm pretty excited! I have 2 plays to go to (Fuddy Meers and The Children's Hour) for class, a screenwriting workshop, and maybe a trip to a haunted house.
I haven't been to a play in years and I can't wait to go again. I hope they are good.
My boss had mentioned in my initial interview that there was a screenwriting workshop in October which I was welcome to attend. I haven't heard anything more about it but I'm hoping that the invitation is still open because I would love to dabble in some screenwriting.
I think the last time I went to a haunted house was when I was around 8 or 9 and I went with the girl who lived with us. We were on a camping trip of some sorts and there was one down the road from us. I can't remember why I decided to go but wow was I freaked out! I never had a desire to go to another haunted house again. Well we got a coupon for a haunted house on the Erie county fairgrounds and Vin wants to go. It's been a few years, maybe I can handle it (yah right!). Anyways, it's a reason for Vin to get out of the house and for us to spend some time together (even though I'll prolly pee my pants from fear!).
September was a great month for me and I'm sad to see it leave but life goes on. I made some great friends, attended a film festival (an experience of a lifetime), got to see my family, tried clams for the first time, saw my college football team, got a library card, and some other stuff.
All in all, it's been a good month and I'm so ready for October to come :)

Double Feature
Promises
(~2007)
why do people make promises?
it's not like they're going to keep them
"i will never hurt you"
"you won't be disappointed"
"I'll be there for you, always"
you can't keep those all the time
and you know it
don't promise me those things
promise me it's going to be hard but you're going to try
promise me that you may screw up but you're going to be sorry
promise me that when you can't be there when i need you, you'll make up for it.
promise me
Who am I?
(~2007)
"Who am I?"
She looked in the mirror. The eyes staring back at surely couldn't belong to her. the body couldn't be hers. who was she? Who was this alien body?
so much had changed in so little time. Some good some bad had happened. Some days were some. Some bad.
She felt desperate some days. And she didn't care on others.
Ever morning she looks in the mirror and wonders who she really is. She wonders why she feels certain ways on different days.
Who are her friends? Who can she trust?
Why can she never trust anyone the way she wants to?
Is she even worth the time people give to her?
Somedays she just wants to sit in the tub with a razor blade
Somedays she wants to surround herself with friends and laugh her a** off
Somedays she wants to be with a special guy who can make her feel so beautiful
Somedays she wants to make her parents proud and have one of those "family moments"
Somedays she just doesn't want to give a f**k and do what she wants regardless of the consequences.
Somedays...
Everyday she looks in the mirror and whispers
"Who am I?"

A little new. a little old
While looking through everything yesterday I found this picture that I had edited
It brought me back to when Vin & I first started dating and the love he has shown me over the years. I remember vividly the emotions I felt at one time and the reason this picture was created. I wrote a poem last night to expand on it.
don't speak
(sept 2010)
don’t speak. love.
touch. caress.
kiss me. hold me.
words hold no power here.
breathe baby
soft nibbles on my ear
bring me close
closer, love.
trembling
shhhh
don’t speak. love.
the creativity is back. the passion is back.
(^_^)
till next time...

Old writings
I was going through some old stuff and found some of my old writings.
I think i may be posting some old writings from now on until i catch up to where I am now. :)
Tell Her You Never Cared
(~2006)
Look in her eyes and tell her its over - you don't love her. Tell her she means nothing to you. Tell her she disappointed you and you never want to see her again. Now walk away and don't look back when you hear her cry. Walk away and swear you'll never miss her. Swear you'll never miss the way she looked into your eyes, how she smelled, how she hugged you. Swear you'll never forget how she sounded on the phone just before she fell asleep, or the way she said your name. Don't turn around!. Keep walking away from the one person who truly loved you. When she calls you tonight and tells you in wavering voice that she'll miss you and that she loved you, tell her you're busy and hang up on her without hesitation. When she doesn't show up at school tomorrow because she put a bullet through her heart, don't cry because you never really cared at all.
I think i may be posting some old writings from now on until i catch up to where I am now. :)

Introducing The NEW Sharpie LIQUID PENCIL – UPDATED
Has anyone seen this?!?!
It's only completely awesome!
Oh! and Hello! I have found time to write! More like I have made time. I am so excited for TIFF tomorrow that there is no way I can go to bed when I should. I was supposed to go to bed an hour ago. That didn't pan out so I've been packing and checking and re-checking and perusing the internet, oh and watching a so-so anime.
And then Vin and I were talking about pens... because they are becoming a passion of mine.... and he had tried my calligraphy pen out the other day and liked it. (do I have enough "and's" in here yet?) So he has done research and i have become painfully aware of my lack of research lately and so yes we have discussed it for a hot minute (haha)
And now... my music is done uploading (I am adding music to my iPod for the trip to toronto) and i should probably at least try to get to bed since I have to be up at 5:30. humm well keep an eye on my TIFF blog at www.tiffwitht.blogger.com as that will be updated way too much this weekend.
Until Next time!

Labor Day weekend re-cap
So this weekend was pretty awesome.
Saturday I decided to go to Darien Lake amusement park with the school. They had free tickets ^_^ It was soooooooooo freaking cold!!!!!! It was already in the low 60s and then it was so windy that it just made it so much worse. On top of that it threatened to rain, the roller coaster I had been looking forward to ride was closed, we were there for 7 long hours and I didn't know anyone at first. Someone did come talk to me while we all waited for the buses (that were an hour late). His name as Brandon. Through him I met Ray, "Buffalo", Junimar (?) and Leidy. Leidy and I really clicked later on in the night and so did "Buffalo" and I, a little bit. I am slightly more confident now that I have made some acquaintances.
Sunday I got a package from my mother (I really got it Saturday but I didn't get home 'till really late and so i was too tired to open it). What an awesome package! I got 2 of my favorite treats: homemade rice krispy treats and maple sugar candy!!! mmmmmmmm ^_^ Then it was time for Gma Jacque's Labor Day party. That was cold but fun. It was just family but still fun :). There was so much food! And it was all so good! She had the fire pit going the whole time and I spent most of the afternoon and evening by it or inside. I also had about 8 roasted marshmallows for dessert.
Today was pretty laid back. I did laundry and tidied the room a bit. I finished The Count of Monte Christo finally!!! OMG what a great book! The movie is completely off. The revenge that he gets is just so awesome! The book definitely wins!
I'm ready to get this week started. I have an unprecedented new outlook on my daily tasks now. I have a longing to take everything more seriously and work hard for the best possible results.
New tasks have been assigned to me at my internship (from now on it will be referred to as BNFF because I am sick of calling it 'the/my internship'). This will take up some time so I may not be able to frequent the blog as often as I would like. Also, I am picking up some new personal hobbies that will require some of my time. I will do my best to keep updating this blog.
ALSO, my trip to Toronto International Film Festival is this Saturday!! I have set up a new account that you can check out here. This blog will (hopefully) have updates from all the students and other info on the event. I'm still adding widgets and tweaking the code but I can at least post! ^_^
Welll... it's late and I need to get to bed.
'Till Next Time!

2nd day of BSC & Wishlist Wednesday
Hello!
2nd day of school today! First, however, was a meeting for my trip to the Toronto International Film Festival. I am suuuperrrr excited for this! It's only 10 days away! yaya!! I will be starting a new side blog for it soon. I have it set up but i haven't posted anything yet and I'm being ridiculously picky about the background (dumb I know).
Just a fun side note before I get into Wishlist Wednesday: Vin has recently discovered how clumsy he is. In the last 24 hours he has stubbed his pinky toe on each foot on the SAME SPOT!.... Spilled something on 2 of 3 chairs in the living room and spilled the dogs water bowl in the garage! I love my clumsy geek :)
And now....
WISHLIST WEDNESDAY!
This week has a theme: Things I have discovered would be helpful at BuffState
1) A windshield sunshade that looks like the inside of the Millenium Falcon! oh yah! I got nerdy with a sunshade!
2) The Bic Duo! Best writing invention since the fountain pen!
3) A Netbook (yes, thank you mother for my computer you got me last Christmas but it is way to heavy to lug around campus)
4) A part-time paying job to buy above mentioned Netbook
5) A water bottle holder! As corny as this sounds it would be soooo helpful. I usually end up carrying my morning mug around with me everywhere and it gets very inconvenient after a while. This one even has a little pocket for keys or a phone!
6) And Bookends! My books in my bookcase keep falling over. It is very frustrating! These would be perfect for those scented rock things! No living creatures though. They wouldn't last long.
And so that wraps up Wishlist Wednesday. Those have been my pet peeves the past few days.
And now it is late and I must get ready for bed. Till next time...
