First day and communication glitches

So.... yah.... break from studying.....

I'm stepping it up this year. Yes, that means I will actually read more than just highlights of the chapters in my textbooks this year. I actually plan on reading all assigned chapters (no, not the whole book! What? you think I'm a saint?). This means that I have actually made a study schedule for my self (yes Mother... be proud. Be very proud). I have planned out my whole day. Since I really have no life outside of school and internship and Vin never wants to go out I think this could be quite easy. I was planning on joining a few school organizations but I am going to hold off for a little bit. One or two groups would be nice... I need some friends dang it!

The first day of school went rather well. I didn't talk to anyone. No one talked to me. Might have been the invisible wall attached to my headphones. Anyways... BuffState is much different than Ivy Tech (duh!) classes are bigger, teachers are more educated and actually care about what they teach and the students are better dressed and bigger snobs (yes, I was wearing the headphones and ignoring people but I have gotten at least 6 stink-eye look-overs today and no they were not appreciated. I thought about asking what their problem was but Vin's stories of violent high school cat fights kept me at bay). But classes are awesome. I'm really looking forward to the rest of this year.

Oh yes..... I have new communication rules now. As most of you know I live on a hill in a forest. What this means is:
  1. really bad cell reception
  2. I will receive your text and voice messages days after you have sent them
  3. The internet and satellite go out approximately 15 minutes before it begins to storm
  4. I have slow internet all the time
Another thing to add that has nothing to do with the hill and trees....
  1. I now live in NY state where texting and talking on your phone while driving are illegal (and the cops are EVERYWHERE)
So to avoid any frustrations and unnecessary pull-overs my phone will be off when I am home and while driving. So I can be reached between 9-5 on the phone M-F. E-mail and online chat are the best ways to talk to me (unless I'm an idiot and don't see your message). I'm on the computer too much and have pretty much all the mainstream chat systems available. So yes.... contact me.... somehow.... and we'll figure out how to get this communication rolling!

yay!

ok.... 30 min have gone by... I think its time to go back to studying....

Till next time....
